Baltimore has come and gone, the show was slow this year, one with the hosting of the Baltimore Marathon on Saturday, a Ravens game on Sunday, and most people saving up for the Big Apple Con. Great luck huh? Well it may not have been a blessing to the wallet, any time spent with family, friends, and fans is a blessing to the ol' heart strings. I always enjoy seeing the crew together and we always have fun...one way or another.
Up next is the Greensboro Cape Crisis on the 24th...that's this Saturday kids at Acme Comics in Greensboro NC. Here is the run down from Acme Comics itself:


This is an All Ages Event that'll be worth skipping soccer games, dance recitals, and Saturday morning cartoons. There's a pretty good chance it will also go down in Greensboro history. For realsies!

We're happy to have our buddy Chris Giarrusso (G-Man, Mini Marvels) return for a special release of the first ever Acme Comics exclusive variant, complete with 100% original cover art! Stay tuned for an advanced unveiling of the art over the next couple of weeks and months!

We're also delighted to play host for the X-Babies #1 Release Party with writer Gregg Schigiel (Pix, SpongeBob Squarepants), who also serves as Stephen's partner-in-crime on the RE: Comics! column here on Acme Comics.com, and Eisner award-nominated artist Jacob Chabot (the Mighty Skullboy Army, Marvel Assistant-Sized Spectacular)!

Rounding things out are Eisner award-winner Art Baltazar (Tiny Titans, Patrick the Wolf Boy) and writer of one of the hottest independent sensations on the shelves today Brian Smith (Stuff of Legend, the Basics), and Ian Flynn and Michael Watkins of (Sonic the Hedgehog) fame!
